Saggy Knees are for the Bees

Okay, there aren't any bees in these pictures. But I did have an issue with saggy knees. Leggings are kind of new to me. I've never been a leggings girl. In fact, I think I've only worn them once or twice in my life.  Well, I wore this outfit to a church fish fry and then again to work recently. *gasp* I know, it's shocking, but yes, I occasionally (okay, kind of often) repeat my outfits! Anyways, here's something I discovered about leggings. They bunch up and get saggy in the knees.

How do y'all handle saggy knees?

Dress & Wrap Bracelet: Target
Belt: Thrifted
Shoes: Shoedazzle
Necklace & Leggings: Borrowed from my Sis

A few things to note. In person, the necklace seems more pink than red. And also, the dress is black & brown, hence the brown leggings.

Oh, here's another thing I noticed while wearing these leggings. You don't feel a breeze (at all) on your legs. So, here I am grocery shopping on my lunch break and the entire time, I'm wondering if I'm fully covered in the back. I kept wondering if somehow my dress had gotten caught on my purse or if it had gotten tucked up somehow and I was showing people more of my legging clad legs and/or bootie than they wanted to see.  *sigh* You can call me paranoid if you want to . . .

I hope y'all are having a great weekend! We went to a Greek festival today, so I'm about to enjoy a little baklava before calling it a day. =)

I've never tried wearing leggings, but they look super cute on you! I really like your shoes too!

I totally wouldn't have noticed that you had saggy knees if you wouldn't have pointed it out! But I find that the thinner/tighter the leggings, the less saggage. I have a a pair of thicker knit ones and they tend to sag like you're saying. Hope that helps!

I've never had that happen with leggings. Maybe the pair you wore got stretched out?

What a cute outfit! I agree with Ashley. I have a problem with thicker leggings sag as well.

Oooo I love baklava!!! I have not worn leggings since the early 90s! The leggings that don't sag at the knees are the nylon ones, if it is cotton with spandex it stretches out over the day...

the baggy knees really depend on the fabric of the tights. it bugs me so much when my leggings get all bunchy. i think the higher you can pull them up, the better. and one wear per wash. and i'm always so nervous that my butt is showing when i wear them! i constantly pull down my shirt to make sure i'm all covered.

you look great!

you look super cute in this outfit. I'm not sure I've dealt with saggy knees in my leggings (yet) so I don't have any advice there. Sorry. We went to a Greek Festival a few weeks back. I can't get enough baklava!

Your paranoia is adorable. I kind of get the same way, though. No one wants their tooshie hanging out! At least not on accident. I love the leggings on you, though!

i rarely wear leggings (or even jeggings), but i hate when that happens. i think it's the material...ones that have more stretch tend to keep its shape better than plain cotton ones, i think that's what it is. those are some cute shoes...and, um, hello...i wear the same outfits to work ALL the time!!

I love, love, love this outfit!!!! Don't know what to tell you about the saggy knee leggings, most of them do the same thing to me. Ugh, so frustrating!

Ha! I do that all of the time when I'm wearing leggings or tights. Well, even when I'm not, actually. I'm always paranoid that I'm baring my backside when I'm wearing a dress :)
