Cardi & Wedges: Target
Tank: Express
Skirt: Cato
On Wednesday nights, I volunteer in a children's program at church called King's Kids. We wear skirts to church, so I try to wear something that will transition from work to working with the kids. I was a little leery of "the long denim skirt," but I think it's working out okay.
Necklace: Target
Bracelets: Target & Kohls
Belt: Aldo
Would you believe that this adorable necklace fell apart right after I wore it? Apparently the wire wrapped around the turquoise stone is very thin and it unraveled. =(
So, what do you think about the long jean skirt? Do you shun it or does it hold a special place in your heart?

I really love the look and I am so sad that the necklace broke. :( It is so cute.
I still like a long jean skirt - I like it with your bright colored sweater especially! I am bummed your necklace broke! That's no good!
i love your color palette here, but have to say i am not a long jean skirt fan
probably because where i grew up a religious group of women wore them with athletic shoes all the time
can't get that image out of my head
yikes!

You totally rock the long denim skirt! Love the mix of brights and stripes!! Denim skirts are one of my wardrobe staples!!
The long denim skirt does hold a lot of memories for me. I don't have one anymore though. If circumstances were right and I found the perfect skirt, I might buy another, but it's a long-shot. You've styled yours beautifully. It really looks great.
I love all the bright colors together. I actually never owned a long denim skirt.
I'm too short to pull off most long skirts, although I have a maxi look I'm dying to try next week (after stripes week and speaking at two paralegal CLEs Friday and Saturday).
Love the cardi. I've gotten some great cardis from Target.
Rats on the lovely pendant. Can you re-purpose/re-hang it?
Pink, yellow, and turquoise are totally cute!
Oh man! Sorry to hear the necklace fell apart! The long jean skirt is a great look, I had one but I don't what I did with it!
Love your yellow striped cardigan! Sorry your necklace fell apart. Maybe you could get some more wire and rewrap?
I have never owned a denim skirt. I barely wear jeans as-is, I think I'm just not a denim person. The material tends to feel very stiff to me.
That's a bummer about that necklace! I do like that skirt on you, especially with the cute wedges!
loving all these bright colors together! i love the jean maxi! i wore won while i was preggo and i can't wait to whip it out again! it's a little heavy to wear with certain things but you pull this off very very well!

I would tend to shun a long denim skirt. But seeing this on you, I think
I would love to have one all over again. Yours is a great fit and looks fab on you!

I don't own a long denim skirt but I think it looks great on you- the wash is perfect and what pretty summer colours!
You look gorgeous my dear, I love this outfit!
Long time I haven't stopped by, hope all is well my dear!
YOu look great! I found a jean jacket today, I think denim is certainly coming back...at least I may be rocking the jacket!
back in the day, i associated long denim skirts with not being able to walk! but recently i've seen some that are flared, so it might be back on the wish list! love the bright colors on top.

Oh the memories associated with a long jean skirt... (I know you feel me on this one)
Having said that, I would absolutely rock one if I found a cute, well-fitting one. Would be perfect for school next year. ;o)
Great buy!
