Chambray Shirt: Gap, Thrifted ($4)
Pants: Ann Taylor, Thrifted ($4)
Tank: Express ($15)
After seeing them photographed, I realized that they are not as flattering as I thought they were! Does that ever happen to you? You really like an item of clothing until you see it in pictures... These are a little baggy and after wearing them for a while, they get really loose through the thighs, which simply isn't very flattering on my already larger-than-I'd-like thighs!
This necklace, however, I love! ;)
A few readers have mentioned that they liked my nails in the past few posts... I had painted them two fun colors to carry me through last weekend. They were certainly not shades that I would have picked for an interview, but they were definitely fun!

NYC in Times Square Tangerine
I got the SpaRitual polish from apothica.com and I really like the shade. It was a pretty matte polish that dried quickly and lasted as long as can be expected when you type for a living and cook and take care of kids every evening! ;)
Close-Up of the Nails =)
Speaking of interviews (which I very briefly mentioned a second ago), what color polish would you wear? I'm thinking a nude shade or just a clear coat. I will (fingers crossed) be interviewing for teaching positions within the next month or so!

French manicure, or if you just want a solid polish, essie ballet slippers.
or a clear coat. Nothing else. Keep it simple and classic.
You always look fabulous, so I know you'll rock the interview. I hope you get the position you want. I know God has the perfect teaching spot just for you.
I would probably stick with a nude or natural color. Just for the interview. ;-)

LOVE love love the nails - sooo doing this!
Maybe try running the pants through the washer/dryer? It might help with the bagginess a little? Because I love the green and blue combo, so it would be a shame to lose the pants :)
On the interview nail polish front, I generally stick with just a clear coat. You don't want to distract from your awesome qualifications!
I have so learned that things I thought look good, eh, not so much, from outfit photos!
I think clear or neutral polishes are best for interviews. You don't want your nails to be the focal point :)
Love your shoes!
Love your bright nails against your yellow skirt! But for the interview, nude I think... have a great weekend xo
Your manicure is so cute! I did a similar one (in mint and light pink). I think a nude nail color would be perfect for interviews. Have a great weekend, Tiffany!

I also say go with nude nails...or even a very light pink. I love those pants...such a fun color with the addition of all the turquoise! Those wedges are fabulous.
Have a great weekend!
Love the chambray and those blue shoes are SO fun! So are your nails :)

I really like the color of those pants its a shame they are a little baggy.
For a interview, I would go with a nude shade or clear coat so it is more conservative.
I think the pants look totally fine on you! Love lime + purple + aqua!
I have been wearing Sally Hansen Diamond Strength "Champagne Toast" lately. Perfect, classy, neutral. Great for interviewing.
I like gray for an interview shade :) Good luck on your interview! You will totally rock it! Sending you fellow teacher luck :) Love the chambray shirt and that necklace is wonderful!
When I interview, I go nude or pale pink with my mani. :) Love those lime pants with the turquoise wedges!
loooove those nails with the outfit!
Adorable...especially love those turquoise shoes! As for nail color for an interview, I wouldn't do anything crazier than a classic pink or red!
Great blouse in the first picture!
