A Winning Combination

Yesterday morning, when I walked into the bedroom ready for work, my Little Guy said, "Oh, momma, you look like a princess!"

Shirt ($10) & Shoes ($15): Target
Halftee: c/o Halftee
Skirt: Cato ($12)

Then, he paused and looked me over and said, "But not your skirt... that looks like a boy thing."

A boy thing???

He finished up by saying, "But I like you! You're pretty."

Earrings, Necklace & Leather Wrist Wrap: Target
Turquoise & Silver Bracelet: Bealls

That boy of mine not only has a killer sense of fashion, but he also knows how to appease a girl's ego. That's a winning combination right there. ;)

I love that he's already what to say around girls - too cute. And you were so right about us matching, since I did the maxi skirt, white tee, and turquoise combination this last week. Great minds must think alike, huh? Really adore the casual and basic feel of the look. You can never go wrong with a classic outfit like this. The pop of color from your Halftee and bright accessories really pull the whole thing together. Nothing "boyish" about it!

Ah, your little guy sounds so cute! He really knows how to talk to the girls, doesn't he? And I really like your outfit, that skirt looks great on you - not a boy thing at all!

Your boy and I disagree - not about you being pretty, but about the skirt. Long skirts always make me think of princesses!

You gotta love sweet little boys...The dude has been telling me I'm pretty all the time lately! He clearly doesn't notice the lack of makeup and his father's tees that I'm rockin'...Ha!

Ha! That story cracks me up. I have a 6 year old son, and he is so honest it hurts, sometimes! But he still tells me I'm the prettiest girl he knows. :)

I love the turquoise accessories and the skirt is not a boy thing. I didn't know skirts could be boy things.

Dossome :)
