Scandalous

Have you ever brought your two-year old to the office with you? It does not make for a very productive day, let me tell ya!

A very nasty bacterial infection is going around the daycare and my Little Miss started showing some symptoms Saturday. She still has a few symptoms and we're waiting for the tests to come back from the doctor.  In the meantime, she can't go to daycare, but she's not really acting sick, so she's joining me at the office.

Lucky me. ;)

Shirt: Thrifted
Shorts: maurices
Shoes: Calvin Klein Jeans, Zulily

While bringing your child to work might not be ideal, it certainly isn't scandalous. But you know what is scandalous? These shorts!

Necklace & Watch: Target
Bracelet: Premier Designs Jewelry

I've worn these shorts before with flat sandals and they didn't seem so ridiculously short. Then I put them on with heels and I felt like I was showing miles and miles of leg! (Ha! As if my legs go on for miles. lol) If I had not been going on a date with the Hubs, I probably wouldn't have worn them.  But they didn't seem to scream, "Look at me! I want attention!" when I was with him. Because we're such little lovebirds that it's obvious I'm taken. ;)

What do you like to wear on dates with your guy?

I'm linking up today with The Pleated Poppy and Rolled Up Pretty.

Finally, do you want to know who won the Castellammare Designs giveaway???  I had 76 entries when I added them all up and Number 11 was chosen via www.random.org... which turned out to be Sharon from The Tiny Heart! I'll be emailing you shortly!

So excited that I won the giveaway! Your floral print shorts are SO cute. I tend to wear heels for dates if I'm going somewhere fancy since my hubby is sooo much taller than me :) I hope your daughter feels better!

Looking like a hot momma!! Those shorts are not too short...even with heels! When I take one of the boys to work, I never get a lot done!!

Glad that your little one got to enjoy a day at the office. Hope she doesn't get sick! On a different note, I think you pull off shorts and heels effortlessly! Not too much leg at all. The floral print is darling and great for summer!

I have a love/hate relationship with shorts. They are either too long or too short!

These shorts though are absolutely adorable though! A great date night outfit with the hubz :)

Hot Mama! You look amazing! ;) I love rocking a mini skirt when I go on a date with the hubby! ;) But that is about the only time it happens. ;) Those heels are so pretty!
Hope your little one isn't sick. ;( And that you get your work done! ;) Kidlets can make getting anything done hard. ;)

You look gorgeous!!! I think the length is perfect, especially since you have such great legs. It's not too much with flats, but it's just sexy enough with heels. And I love that top!

I hope you get those test results back soon and that it's nothing!

Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear she is sick. I hope she gets better soon!

You look FANTASTIC in these shorts!! I wish I could pull something like this off as nicely as you do! I have a pair of shorts in my closet that I just haven't dared to wear yet. Maybe I should give them a try ;)

When I got out with my boyfriend I usually wear a nice dress with heels, something easy but polished.

I haven't brought my own two-year old to work, but I have worked with peeps in the far distant past who behaved like two-year olds at work :P

You are much braver - and much younger - than me to rock the shorts and heels :) Hubby gets the slinky tanks, skinny jeans, and heels on date nights.

I hope little Miss will be feeling better soon, and a summer illness is awful! These shorts look great on you Tiff...all of my shorts are this length...date not required.

I really like your top. It depends on where we go as far as what I wear on dates with Mr. A ... Sometimes, we dress casual - T-shirt, jeans, Converse. Other times, we dress a little nicer. I forbade him from wearing pajama pants to go anywhere anymore, though.

You look great in those shorts. They are definitely not too short. I like the outfit you put together and how you tied it together with the necklace.

I'm sure it's not ideal to take the baby to work but you are SO lucky that you have that opportunity! Love the shorts and I agree I usually want to wear heels when on a date with my honey :).
