Japan

I feel like I need to take a break from the frivolousness that usually makes up my blog to share some serious thoughts today.  My heart goes out to the people of Japan.  I'm not a very serious person. I like to be positive and happy and carefree.  I tend to avoid the news because it usually brings me down.  However, I have friends in Japan and the tragedy there hits a little close to home.  The death toll keeps rising and I can't imagine the heartbreak that the country must be feeling.  I'm so thankful that my friends are ok, but I know so many others have not been so fortunate.  Please keep the country in your thoughts and prayers.  Pray for their safety.  Pray for their heartache to be healed. Pray that no more damage and destruction will come their way.

Thanks for listening.

I thought the same thing (re: my frivolous blog posts) as well. Good for you for "speaking" from your heart about this horrible tragedy Tiff.

It's awful. I wasn't going to post anything about it because I don't feel I am an adequate enough writer to do it justice. The people of Japan have definitely been in my thoughts.

Thank you for sharing your heart in regards to Japan. It's such a tragedy and sometimes I feel so helpless. But I know even little bits, like donating money, can help.
