Thrifty Thursday - What's brown and brown . . . and brown?

I wasn't sure what to do yesterday with my lunch break. I wasn't feeling the gym, the only friend that works close enough to me to go to lunch wasn't able to meet up, I didn't feel like browsing Target (*gasp* shocker, I know!)... After much deliberation, I gained some inspiration from a few amazing thrifters, ShanaLissaErica and Kayla and decided to hit up a thrift store that I'd never been to.  (For those of you that are local, it's the Helping Hands Thrift Store on Highway 90.)  Guess what? I found some adorable items!! Some of these brands I don't recognize, but it doesn't matter. I'm just excited to actually find something that fits! I usually have no luck at thrift stores.

Willi Smith brown & white flower A-line skirt

Green striped Ann Taylor Loft shirt

R&K flowery dress

Studded Belt

And last but not least, this entire outfit (minus the shoes and jewelry...ok, just the shirt and skirt, but STILL!)...

Skirt: New York Clothing (thrifted - new with tags!)
Shirt: Ann Taylor Loft (thrifted)
Pearls: Borrowed from my sis
Shoes: 6pm.com
I really wish I had taken this picture first thing in the morning before the skirt got all wrinkly!

I adore this outfit! It mades me feel so prim and proper. I wish I had some bright heels and jewelry though. I think I could really take it to the next level with some red or purple heels and jewelry... I'll have to be on the lookout for that!

I'm linking up with Spunky Chateau today! Go HERE to check out other bloggers' thrifty finds!

Have you scored any thrifty finds lately?

Man! jealous that you can go thrifting on your lunch break! And a Target close by? That would be dangerous for me. We don't have anything around here except for restaurants, no clothing shops or anything. I guess it's a good thing...

You look gorgeous! I love this! This is a way to wear all neutrals and still look stylish, classy and chic. I do agree that some fun pops of bright colors would be awesome too. That's the beauty of remixing pieces!

So cute! Your turquoise heels would look awesome with this outfit too.
And I've already said it, I know, but your new hair is so adorable!

You look amazing!

I haven't been thrifting lately, but that's because I'm on a shopping ban. I spent a bit to much on a couple of dresses last month so I'm not limiting myself. :/ I'm excited to get back into the groove though!

You got some great deals! I really like the skirt...very summery. You do look all prim and proper in your pencil skirt...like it, like it! How about adding a wide belt in yellow or a color similar to that of your shoes...which I wish we could have seen more of cuz they look really cute!!!

I have that same thought every time I have to take pictures at the end of the day...so annoying!

I love the thrifting finds...I never seem to find anything, plus I'm easily overwhelmed, so thriftting isn't really in the cards for me. I need someone to come teach me, I think! I can't wait to see the dress, especially :)
