The forecast is gloomy with a pop of pink...

Okay, I have to start with a confession... yesterday, I wore an eclectic print maxi dress that everyone commented looked like Missoni. Well, as a "fashion blogger" or sorts, this is embarrassing to admit. But . . . you ready? I didn't even know what or who Missoni was! Ha! Kind of funny, right? I guess I'm more of a bargain shopper mom style blogger than a high end big name style blogger. lol

Today's challenge hosted by Casual Chic Kiki and Megan Mae Daily is all about wearing neutrals. Being that this challenge fell on a Friday, I'd have liked to have worn something a little more casual. Because obviously, who wants to dress up (or give the appearance that they dressed up) on a Friday?!?  But I originally thought neutrals was Tuesday's challenge and prepared for it on Sunday... in my church outfit.  Here it is, folks!

Dress, Cardi & Necklace: Target
Shoes: Nine West from TJMaxx
Belt: Thrifted
Bracelets: Bealls

I simply couldn't go without adding a tiny bit of color. =)

I think these shoes are currently tied with my turquoise heels for my favorite shoe of the moment!

Well, that's all I've got for today, friends! I'm working for a bit and then heading out to go see Harry Potter with a friend! I'm super super excited about seeing the movie, but so sad that this is the last one.

If you want to see how other bloggers are wearing neutrals today, then go HERE! I hope you all have a happy weekend!

You look fantastic! The belt is a great pop of color. And your shoes are smokin hot!

Don't feel bad, I have no idea who Missoni is either, LOL!

Have fun at Harry Potter :)

The belt makes the outfit. I know that it is supposed to be neutrals but the belt is fantastic. I also am so jealous of your fabulous heels! WOW!~

I love Missoni! They're known for their weave pattern. They'll be doing a collaboration with Target in September, this is HUGE! Missoni is found at Saks, NM, your high-end department stores. Although, in the past, I was able to purchase their items at Filene's basement and Saks outlet, just scarves but I am glad to have them! Love the outfit and your belt is adorable!

i LOVE neutrals with a pop of neon!! i normally associate neutrals with khakis/tans, but i love this side of the "neutral" palette very much!

Great neutral outfit! My outfit had the tiniest bit of blue. I couldn't get past it. I love! your sandals.

Omg, I hope you enjoyed Harry Potter. I cried, and cried, and cried some more. I still feel slightly sick to my tummy after it.

Aha...I see that you're wearing "my" shoes again! I'm secretly planning to sabotage them very soon...well, I guess not so "secretly" anymore since I just said it. ;)

You look fabulous!

It's ok we don't know every designer. You look so glam, the sparkly necklace is lovely! I like the long shrug, and red belt, simply chic.

I love the touch of pink! The whole outfit is very chic - I have an intense love affair with gray sweaters and cardigans so I'm a bit envious of your perfectly drapey one here. :)

I hope you had fun at the movies!
