Totally Terrific Tuesday

I started the day out yesterday on a positive note with a positive attitude and after being at work a few hours, it all came crashing down. I don't want to get into it because this is my happy place. Let's just say that my current boss is doing everything in his power to convince me that teaching is not the best career to get into right now.  But I'm determined to ignore him (I usually do anyways!) and make today a better day!  That really shouldn't be too hard since I'm meeting Jess from Stupid Clothes for lunch!

This is what I wore yesterday. You can see why I started out so happy, right? I just love these bright fall colors!

Skirt: Cato, Borrowed from my Sister
Shirt ($10) & Bracelets ($4): Target
Belt ($2): Thrifte
Shoes ($6.95): rsvp from 6pm.com
Ring ($5): Glow Salon

See? I even look ridiculously happy for a Monday morning! lol

I'm linking up today with Real Momma Real Style and Momtrends Monday Mingle (even though it's not still Monday, thank goodness)!

Well, I hope you all have a totally terrific Tuesday! I know I will! (If I say it enough, it'll happen, right?) =)

Yah for a cute outfit and positive attitude on a Monday! Too bad your boss was being a turd and trying to convince you not to do what you set out to do! It must be the week of jerky bosses!

LOVE this skirt! You made this outfit look like fall, even though it's still hot in Florida! I emailed you back, but yes, it is cold in Ohio! Have fun at lunch!

This orange cardigan looks great on you. I also love the belt! Sorry that work has been dumb, I feel your pain there. I love WHAT I do just not necessarily where I am doing it -_-

Omigosh! I love this outfit so much. It made me grin from ear to ear so I can't even imagine how happy I'd be if I was actually wearing it. You look gorgeous.

Boo on the job front. Cyber hug!

Okay, to put a positive spin on this whole boss thing; he is doing this b/c he thinks you're such a wonderful paralegal and he can't bare the thought of losing you. You can't expect he would use those words right? I mean, look who we're talking about here. Him trying to convince you not to do the teaching thing is really just a compliment! Smile inside knowing that. =)

Tiffany, this is a beautiful color combination. I also love the floral print skirt. So perfect as the fall days and weather begin to set in. I also love the rock and roll touch that the belt adds to the entire look. Very lovely!

sorry your happy day was ruined by a creepy boss.
a suggestion to take or leave...try a differnt color cardi on top. the orange and black are too halloweenish for that adorable skirt
hope i didn't just make your day worse. :)

lovely colors, the orange bolero is so zesty ! Definitely perks you up on a monday morning. Great choice of colors. The bubble skirt (?) is bright and summery cheery, still fabulous for fall too.

Please tell your boss to mind his own beeswax! You are a grown a** woman and you can make decisions on your own!

Ahem, now that I've gotten that out of the way, yes, this look is VERY autumnal! Can you please tell your sister that I need to borrow this skirt?!

Oh my goodness, I love that skirt! I want to share your sister's closet, too :)

I really, really hope your week improved last week...just keep telling yourself it's all temporary!
