Not Feelin' It

Okay, y'all know I love my body, but of course I have days where I just don't love this dear body of mine.  Today was one of those days. Here's the thing.  In the past two weeks, I've gained five pounds (thank you, Halloween candy time!) and it's all right smack in my belly area.  I swear, if it weren't totally impossible (as in the Hubs got that taken care of), I'd wonder if I were pregnant! I tried adding a belt to this outfit, first under the cardigan and then over the cardigan, and it just didn't work! My belly was huge and it made me look even more pregnant!  So, I stuck with plain and simple and somewhat boring.

Shirt: Target (Handed Down)
Skirt: NY&Co (Handed Down)
Cardi: Target (Borrowed from Sis)
Shoes: Target (Gift)
Necklace: Shabby Apple (Won in Giveaway)
Ring & Bracelet: (Borrowed from Sis)

Wow!! The total cost (to me) of this outfit was ZERO dollars! That's pretty cool. As long as I can keep raiding my sister's closet and jewelry box, she can definitely keep staying with us! ;)

I think I'm in dire need of some self tanner! =)

How sweet is this necklace?? I won it in the giveaway at H & K Style Journey! Thanks, Heather & Kayla!!! =) And I recently won another giveaway from Casual Chic Kiki.  I've been all kinds of lucky lately and I'm loving it! Maybe I should give the lottery a try... ;)

I want to leave you with one last thing! I recently learned of a fabulous giveaway event being hosted by Monroe and Main.  You can read more about it on their facebook page.  Basically, they're doing a huge event with prizes, styling tips and a twitter party on Friday, November 4th.  Make sure you check it out! The way my luck has been lately, I'll definitely be trying for some of those prizes! ;)

I hope y'all are having a fabulous Wednesday! =)

Oh Tiff (Can I call you Tiff?) You are so cute and I can't see any extra pounds. But I REALLY understand how you feel. I can really do a number on myself when I'm feeling that way.

Congrats on all the loot! Definitely enter the lottery. You're on a roll.

xoxo,
Tracy

Oh I can totally relate. Some days I feel like crap and nothing works right! We can't be supermodels everyday, lol. The necklace looks great! We were glad that you won it. Definitely play the lotto, you are on a roll girl! Heather

I definitely understand the bloaty feeling--glad to know I'm not alone. I know that it's such a mental thing--because I look at you and I would never know! You fabulous woman, you.

And let some of that luck rub off on me! ;)

We all have 'fat days', my fat outfit is not nearly that cute. I think you still look fantastic. Love the necklace, can't believe this outfit was FREE!

I think every single one of us has experienced those types of days. I know I always feel like snacking more during this time of the year - so much good food, candy, etc.

This outfit turned out adorably. I love how simple it is. The aqua looks so refreshing with the gray and black. And I cannot begin to explain how much I love the vintage feel of the necklace. Sounds like you have had a lucky streak lately! Go, girl!

Oooo you too? So...you follow me on twitter and are aware of my twizzlers pull and peel addiction and also that I bought 7 lbs of halloween candy mostly to give to my mom...ah-hem mostly. Yeah...somebody kept about 1.5 lbs and feels about 5 lbs heavier and my Nov pix were taken this wknd and my mom even noticed....wonder if you could tell in today's pix, those were taken over the wknd...it is probably the dark skirt..right!

what a lovely win! Beautiful necklace but hey, you need a beautiful girl to carry it well, that's you. Hehe...I don't see any belly. You need some curves girl, so don't sweat it, skinny people like me also have belly, maybe belly dancing is a good exercise to try. Haha...this is a bad joke. Any ways, you look great Tiffany, the colors are fabulous on you, don't think you need a belt. HAve a wonderful day, God bless you!

I think this is a challenge to a lot of us. I found that jogging and yoga helps in keeping the belly area toned. :)

The blues look fantastic on you! I feel like that way too often. I'm trying the "whatever" approach. I'll let you know how that works out. lol
I love that necklace! Congrats! It reminds me of a cameo necklace. :o)

I am afraid to step on the scale right now...I found mini twix bars in the trunk that I forgot to bring in and I keep snacking on them...damn Halloween!! I love those heels!!

My preggers day was Monday. I actually took my outfit pics just to prove to myself that I didn't look pregnant and than promptly put them in the give away pile.

You look terrific in these pics and not puffy at all. I LOVE the necklace! What terrific luck. I will wish for it to continue.

I've missed ya! I hope all is going well with your student-teaching!

Oh, I hate those days...why do they have to come up so often? And why do they always have to be tied to something as awesome as Halloween candy? It's just not fair, really...

Personally, I think you look amazing! And congrats on your giveaway wins...that necklace is gorgeous :)
