Layer it On Me . . . Halftee Review!!

I'm a layering fool. =) I'm sure you have noticed that most of my outfits are comprised of more than one layer! So, when Halftee contacted me and asked if I wanted to review their product, I said, "Absolutely!!"

The idea of half of a shirt is just brilliant in my eyes! Most tops are too low-cut on me and one of the things I've always hated about layering is the bunching of extra material around the waist. I mean, no girl wants to look a few pounds heavier than she actually is!

Dress, Shoes & Most of the Jewelry: Target

Last week, I answered Carissa's question and said that I wasn't a fan of layering long sleeved tees under tank dresses.  Um, <insert sheepish smile> I kind of have to change my mind.  When styling this cap sleeved shirt under this tank dress, I couldn't help but think, "I wish I had gotten one of the long sleeved halftees!!" It would look so cute with this. So, Carissa, I stand corrected. =) Go get yourself a long sleeved tee or better yet, a long sleeved halftee and wear it to your heart's content! =)

Tunic Worn as Shirt: Rue 21
Skirt: NY&Co
Shoes: rsvp from 6pm.com

I like so many things about the Halftee. I love that there's no tag in it, so you can wear it as what would be considered "backwards" if you'd like to have a higher neckline, which I did with the tank dress! The shirt has a thick band at the bottom of it similar to a sports bra, so that it doesn't ride up.  I love that there's no bunching or tugging that has to be done.  My only wish is that it came in more colors like fuschia or mustard or turquoise or purple!!  As it is, I really want to get a few of the different sleeve lengths in a white, black, cream and maybe brown!

Halftee is graciously offering a 10% discount with the code breakfast10!  Happy shopping!! =)

I'm linking up today with The Pleated Poppy and The Transatlantic Blonde

**Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post. I received free product in exchange for a review.  However, the opinions are totally honest and 100% mine!

The half tee looks great under those outfits. I've been thinking of buying one from this company before summer, so I guess this is the perfect time! Thanks for the review and the discount. :-)

What a smart idea! Great for warmer weather when I don't want to layer camis everyday.

And I love the red under your tank dress. So cute!

That's a great idea, I hate when tee's bunch and then I have to go the bathroom to fix it. I think both outfits are stunning!! I love stripes :)))) xx

great review! I like the cap sleeve tee I wear them very often under dresses, those are some very nice ideas of layering a top and dress. I like it that it's red too.

This is really a fun idea! It's a great way to add a little pop of color without the bulk of extra layers under your outfit. Love how you paired it with the striped maxi - lovely way to transition into spring!

I'll have to check out this company! This is amazing, the concept is really cool and what I don't like about layering is also the bunching at the shoulders and sleeves and you can turn this around. Cool!

Oh and Tiff congratulations on 203 members, you are doing an amazing job with your blog :)

What a great idea! I know I hang onto "tissue" tees specifically for layering, but the halftee idea would be great for minimizing weird lumps or shifting material.

this is cool. i actually won something similar a while back...chickies cleavage coverage. it's more like a halter thing. i like the halftees better because it has sleeves! i love your red and brown outfit...nice combination and pretty detailing on the top.

The half tee is a really great idea. I hate the added "weight" that extra layers bring so this garment would be the perfect layering piece!
