Teacher Appreciation Gifts

As you may know, Teacher Appreciation Week is the first full week of May, which happens to begin on Monday! So I spent a little bit of time during the last few weeks trying to decide what I wanted to do this year.  We really like my Little Guy's teacher. We recently had a situation that I was concerned about where another little boy was being mean to my child, and I really liked the way she handled it.  She didn't brush me off and make me feel stupid for voicing my fears, and she explained how they handle those kinds of situations on the playground.  Anyways, we appreciate all that she does for our Little Guy and we wanted to find a way to show her!

So, I perused the net and compiled all of the best ideas.  He's going to bring the following gifts each day!

Monday
Nail Polish, Nail Polish Remover and a Leopard Print Nail File
"You always hit the nail on the head when you're teaching!"

I saw this idea somewhere and now I can't remember where... if anyone knows who gets the credit, please let me know! I came up with the cute saying all on my own though. ;)

Tuesday
A Plate Of Rice Krispy Treats
"Your teaching makes my brain snap, crackle and pop!"

I got the idea to do the ribbon on the plate here, but the Hubs came up with the brilliant little note!

Wednesday
An Insulated Cup Filled with Crystal Light Packets (found here)
"You give me a thirst for knowledge!"

Thursday
Scissors (found here)
"You're a cut above the rest."

Friday
Starbucks Gift Card (Found here, printable available, too!)
"Thanks a latte for all you do."

If you haven't yet decided what you're doing for your children's teachers, feel free to use one of these ideas!

I hope you're all having a perfectly wonderful weekend! =)

Those are some great ideas ! I just today asked my daughter (in 4th grade) what we should get for her teacher this week, she said she didn't know -- this gave me some ideas ! Thanks, Lisa

You are so creative! What a lucky teacher your son has. :) Now I need to figure out what I'm going to do--you're making me feel like a slacker!
