OTI - My Pick!

We're finally to the end of Open to Interpretation week and today, each of us participating picks our own photo to inspire us!  Well, I had pinned a polyvore set a while back and I decided to finally let it inspire me. =)

I decided to work with these colors and turn it into something I could wear to work!

Cardigan & Tank: NY&Co
Skirt, Necklace & Silver Ring: Target
Shoes: rsvp via 6pm.com

Do you see that gorgeous ring and bracelet I'm wearing?? I recently won a shopping spree to Mimi Boutique and these are a few of the pieces I got! Have you ever visited Mimi Boutique? They have a fabulous selection of gorgeous handbags, clutches, jewelry and sunglasses! I had a tough time choosing my pieces, but I'm so happy with what I chose and I can't wait to show the rest of them to you!

Don't forget to drop by Freckles in April and see how the other participants are getting inspired today!

I'm also linking up with Two Thirty-Five Designs for her Casual Friday Link Up! I'm not causal, but it is Friday, so maybe she'll let me hang out. =)

Finally, I wanted to tell you guys that I entered a haiku contest and I need your votes!! =) It's over at the  Monroe and Main facebook page.  My haiku is #44 on Page 3 - Yellow turquoise red, these colors make my toes smile, sitting on my feet.  Please drop by their page and vote for me!! The winner gets a $250 gift card and if I win, I can pretty much guarantee that I'll be spreading the love around and offering a giveaway with part of the gift card or something that I purchase on their site! =)

The combo of coral and turquoise is one of my absolute favorite mixes ever. I really like your take on it--it's such a versatile version! I could definitely imagine you wearing this in your classroom! :)

How fun!! What a great idea to let the colors inspire you as opposed to the actual clothing items.

What a great colour combination! I just had to pin it - might be hard for me to recreate though. I used to share a khaki skirt with my mother, and now that we aren't living under the same roof, I miss it so much! After seeing how great your outfit looks, I think I need to go buy myself one of my very own!
