New Jeans!

If you don't actually jump onto a particular trend right away, are you still cool when you finally do it? ;) I finally joined everyone else in the world and got myself a pair of cute turquoise jeans!

Shirt: NY&Co ($10, similar here)
Jeans: NY&Co ($30, similar here and here)
Tank, Wrist Wrap & Necklace: Target
Shoes: 6pm.com (similar here and here)

Of course, the first thing I wanted to do with it was pair it with an equally bright color.  If you combine fuschia and turquoise on a Friday (when I wore this outfit), you are bound to have an endless supply of chipperness! And I did. I was like the epitome of bubbly all day long. ;)

Maybe I should have saved this outfit for today... Monday is always in need of some extra chipperness, wouldn't you say?  I guess an extra cup or two of coffee will have to suffice. ;)

Guess what, you guys?!?  My week of teaching (where I spend the week in charge of and teaching the classroom I've been doing my practicum in) is coming up so fast! Do y'all remember when I made the decision to change careers and start the process to get certified to teach not all that long ago??  I honestly can't believe that I'm so close to the end!

I hope you're all having a happy Monday! I'm linking up today with Monday Mingle!

Weekend Wish List - Blue Vanilla

I'm kind of obsessed with Polyvore lately. It's so much fun putting different looks together! Yesterday, I put together a few looks featuring some of my favorite pieces at Blue Vanilla.  Just a hint for the Hubs... I'd be thrilled with ANY of these! ;)

The first look is built around the bolted necklace and the orzo ring. I love how these pieces are styled, but I think they could be so versatile! I paired them with a cute little skirt and top, but I could see them with a t-shirt and jeans or with a really dressy dress, too.

The second look is built around some of their silver and turquoise jewelry, the linda ringthe milena, and the gianna bracelet. I have a similar ring from them that I reviewed a while back and I love it!

And if you want to see a few more polyvore sets I put together with some things I'd like to wear on my cruise next week, then stop by Mom2MemphisandRuby today and check out my guest post! =)
