Tell Me Tuesday

I have a question for all of you fashionistas out there.  Can I wear these boots without looking like a cowgirl?  And if so, how would you wear them?

I got them a few years ago from Target and I think I've only worn them twice. Once on Halloween when I dressed up as . . . you guessed it, a cowgirl! Ha. And another time on New Years Eve with a jean mini and a tank top.  So, if you don't think they're totally outdated, how can I wear them?  I'm leaning towards donating them to Goodwill.

On another note, I am loving these flower clips that I got from Flapper Fashions! I seriously have one for nearly every outfit.  Love, love love! Unfortunately, she doesn't have any more of them. =( I actually snagged the last set, <sorry that the rest of you are missing out> but she has loads of other cute stuff, so check her out!

Disclaimer: These photos are from my cell phone. Sorry about that! But my camera's battery is still dead and I can't find the charger and I don't have my sister's camera at the moment. The nerve of her wanting to use her own camera! =)
Disclaimer #2: I'm not scowling, I promise. I was thinking really hard about trying to get the flower, and lost all expression on my face. lol

Keep the boots! I'm no fashionista, but I like when I see people where them with gauzey-like summery dresses, a cardigan and long chain necklace. I'll see if I can find a pic of what I'm talking about!

Here's a bunch of examples I like: http://www.thefashionpolice.net/2010/07/what-to-wear-with-cowboy-boots-the-result.html. Good luck! I wanna see pics when you do where em!

I totally echo Ashley's first post! I'm also envisioning the same type of dress (short and flowy) but a longer version...like ankle-length. With a cropped jacket. Maybe denim?
That's a little daring for me, but it may look cute????

KEEP THEM!! I wish I had those rockin boots!
I think wearing them with a sassy summer dress would be so cute! Reese Witherspoon wears them with a dress in Sweet Home Alabama & I love it. You will look darling in them I'm sure! And you better post a pic.

And I'm so glad you've loved your clips :) You are so cute!

I am not a fashionista but I think a little black dress (solid) and some chic accessories will totally give those boots a new life. If you wear them with jeans or shorts, it is hard to avoid the cowgirl look.

I have the hardest time figuring out how to wear my cowboy boots too... they're kind of tricky.

You absolutely can wear your cowboy boots and not look like a cowgirl! Try them with tights, a dress and a cardigan. So cute.

i think you should keep the boots. they're so practical and can be worn with a lot. just DON'T pair them with denim (daisy dukes) or a white prairie like dress.

would look cute with a black rocker dress (long sleeves, shorter cut) or maybe a flowery dress.

Ha! I'm totally stealing everybody's ideas here, because I have a pair, too, that have maybe been worn twice.

So thank you for the help :)

And that flower is AMAZING! So cute!

The boots should definitely be kept! And I agree with everyone else.. You can totally rock them with a cute flowery sun dress.. Can't wait to see what you put together!
