Usually, on what begins as a gloomy day, I try to dress in a way that lifts my mood. Today, however, my clothes are just as dreary as the weather (was). The shirt really is pretty and I love the layers of frills, but it's not the most flattering shape on my body, and its too bulky to belt. The cropped cardigan isn't really working either, but it was the only one I could find in the clean pile of laundry in my room.
Oops, did I just admit that I have laundry sitting in piles of baskets in my room?
Sorry, folks, now you know that I'm not supermom, able to keep my house in absolute tip-top shape, while holding down a full time job and still giving my husband and kids all the love and affection they need.
Gosh, I'm just chock full of happiness today, aren't I? Without further ado (and whinings of misery), I give you my outfit:
Shirt: New York & Company
Cardigan: Target
Pants: New York & Company (ages & ages ago)
Shoes: www.shoedazzle.com
Necklace: Gift from a friend
Isn't this necklace sweet? The bird represents me and the nest has two little pearls in it that represent the kids.

I think you look adorable! That ruffle blush colored top is great and those shoes are lovely!
Laughing that you totally describe your outfit first, then show us in a picture :) Much better than you made it sound!!

BTW, I am no supermom either, and I don't have a full time job!!!
You asked a while back if my mom has an etsy shop for her cuffs but she doesn't. She's gonna start selling them but it'll probably be locally (SoCal)
Great outfit.
Your blog's very pretty

Yeah, I don't have a full time job and I sure can't keep on top of everything! My husband seems to think that it's possible; maybe if I had a nanny & a housekeeper? That'd make it a lot easier to keep on top of everything. :) Cute outfit, especially the shoes--they're so amazing!!
Love those super cute shoes!
Killer shoes! Love the sentiment behind the necklace too, so cute!
