I was in New Orleans this past weekend to attend my sister-in-law's shower (prior to the big Blogger Meet Up) and help out my aunt however I could. Since I wasn't home, I wasn't cooking, so I don't have any recipes to share. =( But I did eat some absolutely delicious food at the shower. I only wish I had taken some pictures to share with you! We had crab cakes with mango salsa, crawfish pasta, mini meat pies, sliced Italian sausages and so much more. If that didn't make your mouth water, seeing pictures of them most certainly would have! *sigh* One day, when my kids are grown and I have lots of time on my hands, I'm going to cook like my aunt. That's my goal, anyways. =)
Here is what I wore to the shower. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and part of the afternoon was spent outside in my aunt's beautiful garden, so this light sundress was the perfect choice.

That is such a fantastic summer dress...I love the little ruffle around the neck. And that color is so great! I'd like to know why I don't have anything that color in my closet...
