Black Gingham

I've been hunting for a gingham shirt in another color ever since I got my red gingham shirt a while back. I always felt limited with the red gingham. Every time I wore it, I couldn't help but feel like a table cloth at a 4th of July picnic. =)

Black Gingham Shirt: Brand unknown, thrifted
Green skirt: Loft, Thrifted
Sandals, Skinny Belt & Wrist Wrap: Target

When I saw this black gingham shirt at the thrift store last week, I snatched it right up! I feel like the possibilities are endless with this baby.  I could tuck it into a bright pencil skirt, half tuck it with my turquoise jeans, wear it over a sundress... I could even play with pattern mixing with it.

It is, at the moment, right up there with my chambray shirt, on my "Favorite Thrifted Items" list. =)

Do you have a favorite item that you thrifted or scored on a clearance rack?

I'm linking up today with the girls at Monday Mingle!

The gingham shirt will be so versatile! It looks so cute paired with the green skirt! I have one in blue and I wear it pretty often :)

It's such a good feeling to get something you know you can get so much wear out of. My favorite thrifted item, hands down, is my perfectly worn in vintage jean jacket.

I would love to thrift a gingham shirt. I don't have any gingham in my closet but agree that it's super versatile and so classic. You made me want to try even harder now!

Oh, I really adorable this otufit. I've never tried gingham out for myself, but I love how this shirt looks paired with the green skirt. And those pink accessories are wonderful.

It must be a completely "you" shirt, since I could have sworn you had already worn it, and could envision all kinds of outfits you'd worn with it! But don't worry, I do trust you just got it!

Well you certainly don't look like a tablecloth in this ensemble- I love the b&w, green and pink- it's such a fun outfit! I have done a lot of thrifting lately and am loving my new floral pants!

I love black gingham! I always want to wear mine with EVERYTHING. What a cute outfit! I love a skirt I got long ago from Jcrew that was on SERIOUS clearance and it is still one of my favorites. Congrats on the great thrift buy!

No WAY! I just got a pink gingham that I decided today I will wear with my green chinos. Haven't put it together yet, but it's in my head. And then I came here and you're killing this look. I love it so much!
