Chambray Shirt: Gap, Thrifted
Maxi Skirt: NY&Co
Sandals: Boutique in New Orleans
Well, my poor chambray shirt has suffered a battle wound. I only hope that I can repair it and bring it back to life!
I was walking out of the door at work to go to lunch when I snagged my shirt on the door and ripped off the button! Not only did I rip off the button, but I also managed to snag a decent hole where the button should go. Since I am 100% inept with a needle and thread, I think I'll take it to a tailor and see if he/she can repair it for me.
Isn't this elephant bracelet gorgeous?!? It's so unique. I just love it! When I showed it to my Little Guy, he gave it a cursory glance and went back to watching Curious George. Then he did a bit of a double take and said, "Oooh, momma! I like that!" =)
Ring: I think I might have "borrowed" it from my sister and never gave it back. ;)
I've worn my Road ID a number of times on the blog and you may have noticed it. I can't wait to tell you more about it tomorrow! And you'll definitely want to check back in, because there just might be something in it for you! =)
While looking through these photos, I notice that my hair is in desperate need of a cut and color! I really can't go much longer than 5 or 6 weeks before it start to look a little shoddy. How often do you cut and/or color your hair?
I'm linking up today with Monday Mingle, Still Being Molly, Watch What I'm Wearing and Coming Unstitched!
While you're here, don't forget to enter to win $100 to Monroe and Main!! It's the last day to enter. I'll announce a winner tomorrow!

Oh no, I hope you can fix your chambray shirt! I love the color of your maxi, it's beautiful! And the sandals are too cute - I love those unique purchases from boutiques! :)
Love the chambray shirt! It will just look more rugged with that little flaw now :) Also love the bracelet! I have an elephant obsession! I get my hair done once every 4 months or so! I keep it long because it's actually easier for me! I had cut it shorter once and for the life of me could not style it!
oh noes! poor chambray! :( :( :( i hope you get her fixed!! and you look so fabulous!! love that elephant bangle. thanks for linking up, girl!
Oh, your poor shirt! I'm sure it's fixable...just find someone who is good with a needle and thread. That's what I do. ;-)
Love your elephant bracelet. It's very unique.
I go forever without a cut and color and it shoes. Unfortunately. I think long hair is more forgiving though. When my hair was shorter, I had to cut it all the time.

Oh no, I hope you're able to get it fixed! I'm equally attached to mine so I would be sad too! I love all your pretty bracelets!
Replacing the button would nicely cover the flaw. I get my hair cut and colored every 3-4 months, I have a sprinkling of grays that only you can only see if I point them out.
Oh no! Poor shirt! ;( If your tailor can't fix the hole, ask him/her to cut the sleeves off around there and hem them. Then you'll still have the shirt it will just be short sleeved! ;) Love that green skirt - and oh, my that elephant bracelet is awesome. ;) I recently got a turtle pendant that my kiddo thinks is the most awesome thing ever. ;) Boys apparently like animal jewelry!
Love your maxi skirt! I have to cut my hair every 6 weeks too or it just looks appalling! Hope you are having a good week:)

You know I think that only adds more character to your beloved chambray shirt! I just got one this year, and I'm dying that I can't wear it to work. I love that beautiful skirt!
The elephant bangle is indeed gorgeous! I know, chambray shirts have so much use and wear value, no wonder yours is serving you for so long!

And that's why I gave up on blonde dye job because it was so expensive, I haven't touched my hair in over a year and people think it's ombre (instead of just serious roots- works for me!)LOVE this maxi skirt and of course the lovely chambray top (hope you can fix it!) You always have the best accesories and mostly from giveaways :)
Boo! I absolutely hate it when anything happens, no matter how minor, to a fave article of clothing. I hope it's repairable.
When I saw "purchase here" beside that bracelet I'd wrestle you to the ground for oh did I say that out loud, I took it as an ORDER :D
