Gone Country

** Warning!!! Picture Heavy Post Ahead! =) **
You want to know something crazy??  See this cute little dress right here?

Dress: Loft Outlet (I love Destin's Outlet Mall!!)
Tank: Target
Sandals: Boutique in New Orleans

It went from a Friday at the office in the city (or at least a suburb of a beach town) . . .

To the hills of Alabama where I . . . SHOT A GUN!!

I am 100% a city girl, y'all. Okay, yes, I just said "y'all" which is totally country, but in the south "y'all" isn't country. It's just the way we talk.  Anyways, my hobbies include having coffee at Starbucks, going to Target just to browse, dropping in TJMaxx to see what's on sale, and my newest obsession which is running. =) The Husband is into watching movies, solving his rubics, doing stuff I don't understand on his MacBook Pro and training for the Ironman.  Notice a little something? Neither one of us is a gun shooter. ;)

When in Rome, right?  Or I guess, in this case, when in Alabama . . . I wasn't half bad either! I got *this* close to hitting the bulls eye! And the Hubs hit the bulls eye on his first try! We city folk aren't so citified after all. ;)

Anyways, back to the things this blog is mostly all about... you know those silly superficial things like dresses and bracelets and posing all prettily.

I really love this dress! But I'm stuck on what else to do with it besides just adding different colored tank tops underneath. What would you suggest?

Necklace & Bracelet: Premier Designs Jewelry
Ring: Bealls (Thank you, Vickie!)

Heart Ring: Mimi Boutique
Hello Kitty Bandaid: Courtesy of my Little Miss

And that right there is just another shot of my super cute sandals that I love... that are not AT ALL cut out for traipsing around muddy fields!

So, inquiring minds want to know... are you a city girl or a country girl?

Have you entered my Road ID giveaway yet??

I'm linking up today with Casual Friday, Fashion Friday and My Favorite Things!

I'd say you could add layers to the dress but I don't know if you'd be able to do that in hot FL! I was thinking a chambray shirt underneath. I am SO a city girl even though now I live at the beach.

What a cute dress! I'm a city girl too, but every once in a while it's good to let your inner country girl out :) As far as the dress goes, could you wear a shirt over it and wear it like a skirt? That might be cute too.

I would add a gazer or denim jacket and boots in colder weather, love the dress!

This is so funny. My husband is a total country boy...worked on a farm growing up and all. I, not so much!! :) We live on a gravel road now...in the country...and I'm a licensed handgun carrier. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME? :) hahaha

A city girl, totally, living in the country!:(( No matter how many times you wear it, the dress looks equally lovely every time. You can add a fun bright blazer or cardigan to it, but that is difficult in the summer, I guess! Looks like a fun shooting session!

I love your facial expressions! So cute. You could wear a cute cardigan over it once it gets a bit cooler out. I like how you are using colored tanks though!

oh em geeeee! I think it's so cool that you went shooting! I have always wanted to shoot, but just never have had the chance yet. You are so adorable in that pic with your husband, and you both are super active!

I grew up in the city, but I dunno, sometimes, living outside of the bustle is good!

Wowie! I am so totally a city girl. ;) And all good Southern city girls say y'all! ;) Love the dress. When it gets a little cooler, it will be great layered up in different ways, but for summer? If the fabric belt comes out, you could add a colored belt on top, maybe? And of course rock the statement jewelry!
(Love your girly bandaid! I usually end up with a superhero bandaid in my house! ;)

I am 100% a city girl! Dresses are the pieces I find it most difficult to restyle, forget trying to add a skirt over it, the idea just makes me think that I am experiencing early menopause.

You could tie a button front blouse over this dress, or add a bright cardi in yellow, red, teal, or coral.

Love, love, love the shooting pics - an unexpected style blogger surprise!

Country girl trapped in a city lifestyle! I would love to retire on a hobby farm in the middle of nowhere (ok I say that now...) It would be really cute with a blazer as well- love the dress cut on you and adorable pic of you and your gun shooting man!

Tiffany, that is a great dress girl. I love that you incorporated color through the tanks. It's perfect! It may be too hot right now, but a cute denim jacket would look great with it. Give it a try.

Love that dress! So cute.

I'd consider myself a small town girl. Not city enough to be called city or country enough to be called country. I do shoot guns though. Maybe that makes me a country girl.:)

I really enjoy your blog and every time I visit I have to see you holding that gun! Amazing!
