Short & Sweet

I miss you, my friends! I miss sitting at my desk and perusing my favorite blogs. I miss hopping from one blog to another throughout the day in between tasks that I had to get done. I really do miss all of your pretty faces and funny words!

Shirt: Halftee
Sandals, necklace & bracelets: Target

That being said, however, I am thoroughly enjoying setting up my classroom and getting ready to teach. I wouldn't trade it for my life as a paralegal for anything!!  I just have NO time these days! I am hoping (fingers are crossed) that it slows down just a bit after I have the first few weeks of school under my belt so that my schedule can return to something that resembles normal. =) And so that, maybe, I can work out a normal blogging schedule too! =)

I hope you're all doing well! I haven't forgotten about you, I promise! And I'll do my best to get around to your blogs this weekend. Thank you SO much for swinging by and supporting me even in my absence. =)

Oh, Tiff! I feel like you've just become part of a sacred sisterhood (no offense to the male teachers) that is akin to motherhood: only those who are"in" understand what it's like.

I wish and expect to hear nothing but great things from you, missy! I think that it is amazing to know that just, what, a year or so ago you were deciding to make the transition into "teacherhood". (Would that be akin to the pregnancy stage of motherhood?) ;)

It is already apparent that you have answered your calling, "Mrs. H"!

So glad to hear that you are getting excited for the school year! It has got to be an amazing feeling. I think all your blogging friends, myself included, understand that this is a busy time! You will fall right into a schedule though. Can't wait to hear all about it! Best of luck!

And this is a darling summer outfit. I love the bright red tee under the maxi skirt. Summer layering never looked better.
