Yep, I failed big time today. Baggy linen shorts, baggy t-shirt and flip-flops. Say what?? But to be fair, I wasn't really trying. I started my day at 4:30 this morning with a trip to the hospital so that The Little Missy could get tubes put in her ears. The rest of the day was spent alternating between taking care of my sweet girl and cleaning the house during her naps.
See, the linen shorts are actually really cute. And I think they'll look great with a pair of wedges, a fitted tee and/or a cute cardi. The shirt is actually cute too. I usually pair it with skinny jeans to balance out the baggyness of it. However, you pair a huge blousy tee with baggy linen shorts and a makeup-less face . . . and you get a huge Fashion FAIL. lol
Tasty Tuesday
Since I was off of work today, I decided to take the time and make something yummy for dinner. After looking through the pantry and fridge, I realized I had everything to make Louisiana Chicken & Pasta. The recipe can be found here.
I mixed it up a little bit by using onion powder instead of onions (I was fresh out); and by using vegetable broth instead of chicken broth (because that's what I had on hand); and by using Italian seasoning instead of thyme (once again because that's what I had). =) It turned out pretty tasty.

Don't be hard on yourself - those shorts ARE way cute and I don't even like shorts. Hope your girl is feeling okay! That dish looks very tasty... now regretting my choice to have reduced fat Wheat Thins and cream cheese for dinner!

Fashion fails are OK every now and then. We can't all be perfect. Also the outfits we don't really like make the ones we like better.

I think the shorts are pretty cute too! Pretty much any day I'm not posting an outfit on my blog it's something similar to this. Well, not shorts since it's still FREEZING here but with kids and a house to take care of. . . it's just too much to put on an "outfit" every day. :)
