The Yellow Cardi Strikes Again

It's What I Wore Wednesday and the yellow cardi is back! This is the dress I wore on Easter Sunday. Of course, these photos weren't taken until Easter night, after a very busy day with the family, but it is what I wore.

Dress: Borrowed from my sister
Yellow cardi, navy bracelets & necklace: Target
Navy belt: Kohls
Yellow flower clip: Flapper Fashions
Nude wedges: 6pm.com

Check out how that yellow flower clip just pops! I love it!

Originally, I planned to belt the cardigan, but it just didn't look right. I have yet to actually belt a cardigan and like the way it looks. Maybe I'm just not a belted cardi type of girl.  I do like the way the outfit turned out, but I wish I had followed the advice of Kish of Me, Myself & Style, when she suggested that I wear a navy cardigan with a mustard skinny belt. I think I'll try that sometime soon.

I think the outfit looks cute. Yellow looks good with your hair.

I like it! You look really good in yellow. And cute nude wedges. It looks like a good heel height so that you can wear them with anything. :)

Very trendy classic :) I do agree, I think the navy cardigan and yellow belt would have a bit more pazazz. The hair accessories are perfect.

Adorbs. I stupidly have never thought of a navy cardi + yellow belt. I attempted to try on a navy blazer over an orange dress with a yellow belt the other night and it was horrific. I love blue & yellow together so I think this outfit is fantastic!

I like the cardi with the dress! You look adorable, and you are working those nude shoes! (I love them!)
So...I have a "challenge" for you...how about showing us this cute yellow cardi in an outfit with those hot turquoise heels that you have? Huh? Huh? ;) I know you can rock that!

Darling outfit, Tiffany! The yellow makes me really happy :)

I want to thank you for your sweet comment. Isn't it amazing that we are often most beautiful when we feel least "pretty?" Your story is beautiful and the sacrifices we make for our spouses and children is part of what makes women so lovely. I am glad our husbands are here to remind us of that :)

You look amazing in yellow- it's such a hard colour to pull off but you rock it! Those shoes are beautiful too!
