Floral Jeans, Black Blazers & Clearance Racks

I'm having a little love affair with all three listed above.

Shirt: NY&Co ($10)
Blazer: Kohls ($9)
Pants ($7) & Belt ($4): Target
Heels: 6pm.com ($15)

Okay, if you know me, then you know that I've always had a thing for clearance racks. I'm a total sucker for a sale. As soon as I walk into Target, my eyes hone in on that 70% off sign like a dog's eyes on a bone.  Similarly, occasionally my mouth will even start watering and my heart starts racing. Yep, I love a good clearance rack.  When I found these floral jeans for $7 on that self same clearance rack, I wasn't initially sold on them. In fact, I really only bought them because they were so cheap.

Now, I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that I might be a floral denim fan. Eeesh, I know. It's a scary thought. In fact, I'm pretty sure the words, "Why would I want a flower patch drawing attention to my hips?" at one time or another.

Now, on to this black blazer.... It was all of $9 and it was on Kohls' clearance rack. Can you believe it? I am 100% in love with Kohls and their sales and their credit card. Okay, I'm not a crazy credit card spender. In fact, we always pay it off right away... I just like to use it to to take advantage of the awesome additional discounts that card holders get!

What about you? Have you jumped on the floral denim band wagon yet?  What about clearance racks? Do they call your name like a toddler crying for candy?

I'm linking up today with Still Being Molly and the lovely ladies behind Monday Mingle. Check them out for some outfit inspiration from everyday ladies like you and me!

I'm actually nervous about the floral denim trend... I love it, and you make it look so easy... but I just haven't jumped on the band wagon yet! ;)

The floral jeans are adorable! I'm wanting a floral blazer myself, but I have yet to find the perfect one!

The floral jeans are awesome! I saw the same pair but they weren't in my size. Kohl's is definitely a great place for cute clothes and great sale prices. You look adorable as always! Heather

I love this outfit and you look adorable!

I thought I would despise printed pants, because my bottom half is not my best half, but I actually like them. A lot.

I bought a pair on Kohl's clearance for $8 and it was a great buy. Mine are darker colors though, for winter. Kohl's clearance is my friend. Those racks are the first place I head when I walk in the store.

Super-cute outfit and I'm glad you shared it with us. It's inspiration!

I got a fabulous pair from Primark in London - cheap, cheerful and before the times back here in Oz. I love them. Yours look amazing with that strong purple top. Great outfit.

Glad the "buy because they were cheap" works for you! I'm finding as I filter out my closet that the "buy because they are cheap" make up most of the stuff I'm getting rid of. You must have an extra shopping instinct!

I am not a big fan of prints in my own wardrobe. Stripes and animal prints are pretty much my limit. ;) However I adore black blazers and clearance racks. In fact I rarely even shop the non clearance part of the store. ;) You do look entirely adorable in your floral jeans and I love the green shoes! ;)

i finally got to go to target recently (the locations here are not close to me or my daily routes!) and saw a bunch of jeans on the clearance. i think floral denim is the one kind i don't own...yet!
