Turquoise, Denim & A Day with My Bestie

Do you see how I have sort of an eerie glow about me?

Shirt: LOFT, Thrifted
Tank: c/o Halftee
Skirt: NY&Co, Thrifted
Belt & Sandals: Target

I'm not an angel, really I'm not. It's just that the humidity fogged up the camera lens again and I didn't catch it in time to take additional shots.

Remember how I mentioned that I was spending a beach day with my bestie yesterday. It was divine! The day was perfectly beautiful. My bestie lives in Texas now and we only see each other once in a blue moon. Because we both work and have kids, it's really hard to find time to even catch up on the phone.

I picked her up at 8:30 yesterday morning and didn't drop her back off at her aunt's house until almost 5:00. Do you want to know something crazy? I don't think there was a single moment of silence the entire time we were together. We picked up right where we left off and chatted about every little thing in our lives until I was forced to leave her because real life needed us to come back.

Watch & Big Silver Ring: Target
Silver Bracelet: Premier Designs
Stackable Rings & Smaller Silver Ring: Premier Designs
Pink Band: RoadID (which I can't wait to tell you more about next week!)

Do any of you live far away from your best friends?  How do you survive between visits?

I'm linking up today at Wordless WednesdayThrifter Thursday, Casual Friday, The Tiny Heart and Fashion Friday. Wowsa, that's a lot of link ups! Check them out to see how other girls are getting dressed these days. =)

While you're here, don't forget enter to win a $100 gift certificate to Monroe and Main!!  You have until Tuesday at midnight to get your entry in!!

You look great. I'm happy you had a great time. My best friend is my husband, but my best girl friend lives back in America, so I don't see her often as I don't go home much. But, she's awesome and it's most likely a good thing we live far apart as we'd never get anything done, haha. Have a super weekend :) xx

Awww, I know exactly what you are feeling being away from your bestie. Mine lives 1,000 miles away, and we don't see each other nearly as often as we would like. :(

I love this outfit, and the foggy glow of the pics is actually pretty darn groovy!

Dossome :)

So glad you got to spend time with your bestie! Many of my good friends now live in different states so I don't get to see them nearly as often as I'd like :( Have a great weekend, Tiffany!

Love the jewelry, nail polish, and dreamy fog effect :)

My hubby's my bestie in real-time, but I have a couple of virtual bestie style blogger friends that live so far away - but we chat daily online :)

You look great in the turquoise/bit of red combo! Also love the silver jewelry. Living far apart from your best friend can be tough, but it's always so awesome when you finally do get to see them!

UGH, I hate when my camera does that! I always try to take my pictures in the morning when its not crazy hot/humid, but sometimes I try to retake them when I get back from work, and it never ever works out. Can't wait for fall so this stops happening!

You look adorable. I can't believe the humidity is that bad that it fogs up your lens. On an up note it does make you look angelic.
