Chambray Sleeveless Shirt: Thrifted (Also worn here)
Sandals & Belt: Target
I get my hair cut and colored today and tomorrow we begin our staycation!
We live in Florida, just minutes from sandy white beaches. So we decided to forego the expense of a hotel and stay home . . . but we're going to spend three days acting like we're vacationing. We're going to camp out in the living room, stay up late watching movies, go to the beach, go to museums, see a matinee and go to the Gulfarium. We're also going to eat a lot of junk food!
Okay, so about this look, which happens to be Outfit #13 of my 30 for 30. I've come to the conclusion my "mom uniform" is made up of shirts and shorts, but I'm at least trying (key word here is trying!) to be a little creative with them. On days I'm staying home with the kids, I tend to go a little light on the jewelry and wear more casual tees. And on days I'm going somewhere (like here!), I pile on the arm candy and try to dress up the shorts a bit.
I'm linking up today with The Pleated Poppy, Wardrobe Wednesday, Dear Abby Leigh, Transatlantic Blonde, Trend Spin, Suburbs Mama and I Feel Pretty.

That top is absolute perfection! I would totally wear this outfit every day. Lucky you, living so close to the beach! So if you're going to the Gulfarium you must live close to where we head for our annual vacation. :)
You look adorable! Loving the color of your shorts!
You've lost weight, girl. Haven't been here in a while and I noticed. Cool outfit, especially the shorts. I've got quite a few "mom outfits." Tha'ts all I wear now.

Sounds like you are going to have a lot of fun! Plus you get to take the money you would have spent on a hotel and use it for other fun things!

I love the chambray with the bright red shorts! It would be perfect to linkup with my chambray linkup from yesterday.

A little pampering is the best way to start any vacation or staycation! Staycations are great - so many people don't take advantage of the attractions their area has to offer unless out-of-towners come to visit, it at all.
Also, I'm loving your colourful shorts. I'm on a mission today to find some. I can't believe I used to just survive off of cut offs!
What a fun look! I can't get enough of Chambray this summer!!
I love your strappy sandals! So adorable.
Hope you are having a great staycation!
